Phytol – Terpene Profile
Phytol is an acyclic diterpene alcohol that is found in small quantities in cannabis plants. Its odor is very faint and is described as floral. Phytol is used as a precursor for the manufacture of synthetic forms of vitamin E and vitamin K1. Furthermore, a study from 2014 revealed anxiolytic-like effects of Phytol on mice.
