Alpha-Bisabolol – Profile
The primary source of this colorless sesquiterpene is German chamomile. Therefore it has a pleasant light floral odor and has been shown to have anti-nociceptive and anti-inflammatory activities. Furthermore, it has been shown to help improve sleep quality. Terpene α-Bisabolol is well suited for use in skin care products and can be useful in both sensitive skin and child/baby products as a soothing ingredient.
